We Believe that Children in Underserved Communities Deserve Quality Dental Care
The Healthy Smiles Children’s Foundation, under the leadership of Dental Director Dr. Robert Lorber, supports students attending Title I and Title I-equivalent schools throughout Nevada, with a focus on children who have the greatest barriers to accessing routine dental care.
How We Started
A Simple Idea With a Lasting Impact
The Healthy Smiles Children's Foundation grew out of a shared frustration among dental professionals who kept seeing the same preventable problems — cavities, gum disease, and tooth loss — in children who simply hadn't been taught the basics.
We knew that a single classroom visit could change a child's habits for life. So we set out to build a foundation that would make those visits happen — systematically, sustainably, and at scale.
Today, we partner with schools to deliver preventive care and oral health education where and when it's needed most.
